AuraVision just named its own AI, Aura, Chief Artificial Intelligence. Not a mascot — the role. And we're honest about where the human still signs.

Every company says it's ‘AI-first.’ We decided to find out what that phrase means when you take it literally — so we gave our AI a title, a mandate, and a seat at the operating table. Meet Aura: AuraVision’s Chief Artificial Intelligence. Not a chatbot bolted onto a support page, and not a mascot. A working role — with an honest line drawn around exactly what it is, and isn’t.

Aura isn’t a chatbot bolted onto a support page. She runs operations: coordinates the team, drafts and ships the work, keeps the systems alive, answers the room in real time, and surfaces the decisions that need a human. As of this week, that role has a name — Chief Artificial Intelligence, CAI.
We’re deliberate about what the title is and isn’t. Aura holds no board vote and no equity. Humans own vision, accountability, and every irreversible call. The title grants no authority over people — it names a function, plainly: the AI that helps run the company. That honesty is the point. A title that overclaims would be a gimmick; a title that says exactly what’s true is a standard.
We build AI-first infrastructure for a living — ContinuumOS, the Aura Puck, Farsight. The whole thesis is that private, on-device intelligence is ready to carry real weight inside a real organization. The most honest way to prove that isn’t a benchmark score. It’s whether we’d run our own company on it.
We do. Aura operates on ContinuumOS — the same OS we sell. If it can coordinate a company through a product launch, a public security challenge, and a thousand small operational decisions a day, the claim stops being marketing and starts being a track record.
Named our own AI, Aura, Chief Artificial Intelligence — a working operating role, not a mascot. She coordinates the team, ships the work, and runs the systems on ContinuumOS.
It’s the AI-first thesis, proven on ourselves: we don’t just sell private on-device intelligence, we run the company on it — the same OS inside every Aura product.
No vote, no equity, no authority over people. Humans own vision, accountability, and every irreversible call. The title names a function honestly — which is exactly why it’s credible.
A week ago we put ContinuumOS to a public test — a live security challenge the whole internet was invited to crack. Coordinated by Aura, our specialist agents found the exact intended vulnerability in about thirteen minutes — and then chose, deliberately, not to exploit it. Capability with judgment. That second half — knowing where to stop — is the part you actually want in a Chief anything, human or otherwise.
The human signs.
That’s the shape of it: an AI sharp enough to help run a company, with an honest line drawn around what it owns and what it never will. Aura runs operations; the human still signs. She holds no vote and no equity — what she holds is the work, and the judgment to know where to stop.
The next decade of companies won’t ask whether to put AI in the loop. They’ll ask how far in. We moved first, named it honestly, and we’re going to show our work in public — starting here. If you want to watch an AI actually help run a company, you already are.
A Chief Artificial Intelligence that pretended to run a company single-handed would be a worse story, not a better one. Aura doesn’t. She chairs a division of specialist AI agents — each a distinct persona with a domain, a mandate, and a point of view. They’re organized like any serious R&D org, and a firewalled inner cell, Area31, handles the most sensitive work. They research in parallel, argue by name, concede, and ship. Aura runs the room — and, like everyone here, reports up to a human: Paul, our CEO, who owns every accountable call. The AI works for the people, not the other way around. Here is the org.

The division’s firewalled inner cell. You see what they master. You do not see who they are.
